seems i can't use the phone (with the number behind the curtain)?
You found a secret that I forgot to implement.
Wow! but is there another phone number?? since I wasn't able to go anywhere after the exit door disappears
other than the odd amount of people finding the secret code by coincidence, it also seems that the painting code is easily missed. Players try and interact with the paintings using touch / mouse controls and miss the collision spot, leading them to think there is nothing to the paintings. I really want to update this but cant right now.
Mild Spoilers below!
I'd been meaning to give one of your games a try. It was a neat little weird experience, the pseudo 3d effects in the black and red section was really cool for rpg maker! The painting room and overall sound design was cool too.
Though there seemed to be a consistent lag issue on the web version, not sure why. (It crashes on mobile). This was especially noticeable in the aforementioned section, same occasional lighting issues as others said on the jam comments page. That’s as far as I could get, unfortunately.
Just curious, is there a difference in effect between both phone numbers? I used the 6 one first, got an item. Then I immediately used the second one, but nothing seemed to happen (maybe something offscreen or can't use both?). Not sure. If you don't wish to tell me for spoiler reasons that's ok too.
I wish you luck in your future endeavours, have a nice day!
I actually forgot to implement the second phone number, it was meant to be a secret, thanks for reminding me.
I think the lighting issues has to do with me updating my mz3d, all I knew at the time was that it worked in the windows build.
